The 2nd Online Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest of Zhongqing Cup “Internet Plus” for University Students successfully completed

In August 2021, the 2nd  Online Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest of Zhongqing Cup “Internet Plus” for University Students, cooperated by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Chiang Mai, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and InnovationMHESI )of Thailand, and Chiang Mai University, was officially launched. The topic of the contest is “ ‘Thai Wonderful’ I represent my hometown product -- digital technology helps Thailand's economic recovery.” The contest was hosted by the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University, the College of Art Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, and Sinothai Education Technology Co., Ltd. University students in Chinese major in Thailand were actively participating in the contest. After more than a month of preliminary rounds and semi-final matches, the final eight teams would be broadcast live on October 29 for the final round. Consul General Wu Zhiwu,  together with Mr. Sirirerk Songsivilai, Permanent Secretary of MHESI ,Mr. Rattapol Naradisorn, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai, Associate Professor Rome Chiranukrom,  Vice President of Chiang Mai University, Mr. Shen Yi, Chinese Director of Confucius Institute of  Chiang Mai University,  and representatives of Chinese-funded companies in Thailand attended the opening ceremony for the final round by online video conference.
