In order to facilitate the application of health code/ personal statement of health status by Chinese and foreign nationals travelling to China, the Consulate General has sorted out the application requirements of various categories of passengers, and hereby publishes "List of Requirements to Apply for Health Code for Passengers Travelling to China from Thailand”, please follow the relevant instructions.
Chinese nationals can search for "Health Code for Pandemic Prevention (International Version)" mini program in WeChat app to apply for the health code. Non-Chinese nationals can register at http://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ to apply for health code through a computer or mobile phone, fill in the information and upload materials as required.
Relevant testings must be conducted only at testing institutions designated by the Chinese embassy and consulates in Thailand. For the list of testing institutions in Northern Thailand, see

Applicants should submit their applications on time. Applications submitted within 4 hours before the flight departure may not be reviewed in time, which may affect the applicant's health code status and result in travel obstruction.

2 | Passengers who are fully vaccinated with non-inactivated vaccines (such as Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, BioNTech, CanSino, Zifivax, etc.) 1. Those who has been fully vaccinated with inactivated vaccines and gets inoculated with non-inactivated vaccines later, please follow the category of the fully vaccinated with inactivated vaccine. 2. Passengers must travel after 14 days after full vaccination. Those who have been vaccinated for less than 14 days will not be issued a health code even if the test results meet the requirements. | 1. 4 | Passengers with infection history. Including those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have a nucleic acid RT-PCR test positive, IgM, and IgG serum antibody test positive (except for positive antibodies due to vaccination) | Passengers with COVID-19 infection history should truthfully declare their medical history and testing results to the embassy and consulates, and apply for a health code according to the following requirements: 1. Take a pulmonary imaging diagnosis report (lung CT scan or X-ray report) at a regular hospital in Thailand to prove that the lungs have no abnormality or that COVID-19 has been cured, and two nucleic acid RT-PCR tests conducted by the two different testing institutions designated by embassy and consulates in Thailand with negative results (sampling time interval between two RT-PCR tests must be at least 24 hours). Remarks: After 6 weeks (42 days, counting from the latest sampling date of the 3 test results above) after obtaining the three results above, then they can start the application process for health code below. 2. Take two nucleic acid RT-PCR tests at two different testing institutions designated by embassy and consulates in Thailand, with a sampling interval of more than 24 hours, of which the second testing and sampling date is the 14th day before boarding.) 3. Those with negative results of two test results should conduct a self monitoring for 14 days before boarding, and fill in the Personal Health Monitoring Form. 4. Pre-Tests before boarding 4.1 Those who are fully vaccinated with inactivated vaccines: Two nucleic acid tests must be conducted within 72 hours and 48 hours before boarding respectively, in two different testing institutions, with a sampling interval of more than 24 hours. 4.2 Those who are fully vaccinated with non-inactivated vaccines (such as such as Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, CanSino, AstraZeneca, Zifivax etc): Take a nucleic acid RT-PCR and an IgM, IgG Serum antibody against N-protein test. The two test results must be all negative. 4.3 Those who are not vaccinated: Take a nucleic acid RT-PCR test, and IgM, IgG serum antibody test within 48 hours before boarding. The two test results must be all negative. 5. Children under the age of 14 and pregnant women are exempt from lung CT scan or lung X-ray. | 1. Passport first page. 2. 5 | Passengers who travel from a Third country. | For those who enter Thailand from a Third country with short-term visas such as tourist visa, and there is direct flight(s) to China from the departure country, Chinese embassy and consulates in Thailand will not issue health codes for them. If there is no direct flight to China from the departure country, the health code shall be reviewed and issued according to the following requirements: 1. The applicant must take a direct flight to Thailand and have earlier obtained the health code from Chinese embassy or consulates in the departure country. 2. In accordance with Thailand's pandemic prevention regulations and relevant requirements before departure, the applicant must stay in Thailand for at least 28 days and conduct nucleic acid RT-PCR tests and self-health monitoring for 14 days and fill in the Personal Health Monitoring Form before departure for China. 3. Take nucleic acid test RT-PCR test once each on the 7th day and 72 hours respectively before boarding, and take nucleic acid RT-PCR test, IgM and IgG serum antibody tests within 48 hours before boarding. (For those who have been fully vaccinated with inactivated vaccines, the IgM and IgG serum antibody tests within 48 hours before boarding can be waived). The two tests of 72 hours and 48 hours before boarding must be conducted at two different testing institutions. 4. For foreign nationals travelling from a Third country who enter Thailand without quarantine, Chinese embassy and consulates in Thailand will not issue health codes. | 1. Passport first page. 2. 6 | Passengers with close contact history. Those who have had unprotected contact with a confirmed case or asymptomatic infection. | Passengers with close contact history should truthfully declare their close contact history, and must conduct self quarantine and observe themselves for at least 14 days after contact with confirmed cases or asymptomatic infections before applying for a health code, according to inactivated, non-inactivated and unvaccinated passengers. | |
7 | Personnel of Chinese enterprises in Thailand (including central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises) | In addition to self-health monitoring for 7 days before boarding, take a self quarantine in a closed environment for 21 days prior to departure date (calculated as the date of departure minus 21 days), with no physical contact to outside. If the first nucleic acid RT-PCR test is found positive or symptoms appear during the quarantine period, the arrangement for returning to China should be suspended immediately, and the close contact personnel should also do the same. If personnel of Chinese enterprises come to Thailand on a temporary business trip and plan to return to China, they must conduct self quarantine in a closed environment for 7 days before boarding, also physical contact with the outside world is not allowed. | Relevant enterprises must issue a confirmation letter of self quarantine for them, which contains the name, passport number, start and end date of quarantine period, quarantine location and other information of the personnel returning to China, affixed with the official seal of the company, and upload it when applying for the health code. |
